Modella acting programs are taught with the utmost professionalism.  A great way to     instil self-confidence in a safe and challenging environment.  Have fun, gain new skills, and learn about the acting industry at the same time!
Our instructors are professional actors currently engaged in film/TV and theatre work who bring well-informed perspective on the art and business of acting.
We offer programs for ages five to adult, for beginner and intermediate levels:

CHILDREN 5-8

Be prepared to have fun!  This class allows the children to be creative using props to take on different roles.  The focus in this class is physical movement and expression.

YOUTH 9-12/TEEN 13-17/ADULT

These classes focus on skills development in the areas of voice/speech and movement.  There is a combination of theatre as well as auditioning techniques for film and television.  A well rounded program that covers all aspects of the industry.

TV & FILM

Prepares students to work as actors in the film and TV industry, enabling them to move from practising their craft to applying it professionally.  This includes cold readings, scene work, commercials, and auditioning techniques.

In all of our acting programs the final class will be a ``showcase`` performance for   family and friends, and at times agents and casting directors are invited to attend.

A PARENT'S WORKSHOP

Is your child interested in Acting or Modelling?
As a parent, the idea of your child getting into this industry can be both exciting and scary. You will want to know the facts, and learn the rules regarding talent agents, on set rules etc. We offer parents the opportunity to learn about the industry, ask questions, and get the information needed to get into the industry and where to start. We also bring in a local talent agent halfway through the workshop to find out what they are looking for. This session will run monthly and includes handouts with all information and resources.
